Your role

In the role an accounting assistant, you will provide qualified administrative support to the Group Reporting & Accounting Principles team. You will be part of the process of creating our annual report and our interim reports. The position is an hourly employment, with the aim to be combined with your studies, for the period October 2021 to March 2022 with possibility to further extension. The employment will start in October 2021 with work during quarterly closings, interim reports and ad-hoc tasks after agreement. During January to March 2022 your workload will be approx. 30% of full-time helping out with primarily the annual report for the Saab Group.

Examples of your tasks are:

  • Work in Saabs internal tools and programs  
  • Administrate and develop information for the annual report/interim reports
  • Perform adjustments and updates of financial information
  • Quality assurance and review
  • Define own relevant initiatives and tasks
     

The role will include other administrative tasks as required by the Group Reporting & Accounting Principles team.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a passion for accounting, who has ongoing studies at University, preferably within accounting or finance. To succeed in this role, you have learned some accounting during your studies, but no previous working experience is required.

You are curious and accurate in your work and enjoy being supportive to your colleagues, in matters both small and large. You want to learn new skills and we expect you to have a positive and problem-solving mindset.

Other qualifications we value are:

  • Ability to compile, maintain and improve information
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of

You will be part of Group Finance, which is the Saab Group's central function for financial analysis, governance and reporting. You will be a part of the group accounting team, Group Reporting & Accounting Principles, which today consists of five employees. Our areas of responsibility and main tasks are financial analysis, control, follow-up and reporting for the Group and to ensure that the Group's accounting principles are in accordance with relevant regulations.

You will work in a team that is open to change. We take individual responsibility at the same time as we have a high ceiling and have a good collaboration.
