The role

As part of our Land group, the Administration Officer is required to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to provide effective administrative support across the Land Business Unit within Saab Australia.

Further, the successful candidate will:

  • Assist with employee on-boarding/off-boarding activities, such as information packs and the scheduling of induction sessions.
  • Event and/or function coordination, such as meetings, company dinners, seminars, workshops, VIP visits, and group tours.
  • Catering for internal and external events.
  • Work in collaboration with other Administration Officers to provide administrative support across all business units.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the General Manager Land including calendar management, weekly reporting and general administrative tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to a range of Land projects and programs as required.

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight and part time (0.8 FTE minimum) will be considered for this role.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, tasks and requirements.
  • Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures for maintaining quality and efficient administrative support.
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills including the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive administrative systems of work.
  • The ability to work under pressure, including the ability to make judgements about competing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated high-level proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
