As a IT and Application manager in Fleet Management and CAMO you will play a central role in our IT Management team and you will be part of IT-management, development and implementation.

Your role

You will work in close cooperation with our development- and test teams and our customers to implement, deliver and document the services throughout the lifecycle of the contracts. You will coordinate the tasks within the team and understand the customers need and specifications to be able to provide guidance to the customers within available solutions.

In this role you will contribute with your experience and competence within CAMO Part-M and the different services and solutions we offer to our customers in order to recommend the best practice and configuration for our customers need.

The main tasks are:

  • Analyze and understand the customers need and specifications
  • Develop, implement and maintain our products
  • Be part of our AMMS Product Management team
  • Support customers with guidance within Business Processes, supported systems and products
  • Document solutions and processes

Your profile

As a person, you are engaged, self-driven, creative and with a holistic view while you enjoy working in teams and are passionate about reaching set goals. You are solution-focused with the ability to understand various businesses and customer needs. You also have experience writing requirements specifications, processes and routines.

Required skills:

  • Aeronautical degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience from airline operations or aircraft maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
  • Experience from project management

Desired skills:

  • Experience from aviation regulation, EASA Part-M and Part-145, EMAR
  • Experience in business development
  • Experience from development and implementation of aircraft Fleet Management Systems
  • Writing processes and procedures

The work includes travel nationally as well as internationally.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of

The department CAMO and Logistic Services consists of 3 sections and approximately 80 co-workers. We have offices in Linköping, Arboga, Såtenäs, Järfälla, Luleå, Växjö och Uppsala.

The business is mainly conducted in the area of ​​Fleet Management Solution (FMS) with management tasks in both business and IT-related areas.

Aircraft Maintenance Management System (AMMS) is an IT-system within our product portfolio. The system is developed to manage Continuing Airworthiness and is based on the Maintenix system. We develop concepts within Fleet Management Solution and customize the solutions in line with the customers’ specifications. Within Fleet Management Solution, we provide several different services like Maintenance program, Reliability, Technical records, Planning, Logistic planning and development of control routines and regulations for our customers’ aviation maintenance operations.

Our main customers are Saab Gripen operators, The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and the Swedish Armed Forces. We also participate in larger projects within Saab AB.

Primary job location is Uppsala. Placement in another location where CAMO and Logistic Services operates may be relevant.
