Job Description:

Saab Inc. is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join the team at our newly constructed Advanced Manufacturing in West Lafayette, Indiana. The ideal candidate will possess

accounting and analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Handle processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Record standard and adjusting journal entries.

  • Assist with the monthly and year end close process.

  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations.

  • Account for fixed asset purchases and recording of depreciation.

  • Support internal and external audit requirements.

  • Complete special projects as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • B.S degree in Accounting

  • One to two years accounting experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Solid written and oral communication skills and analytical problem solving.

  • Sound and consistent business judgment, a good grasp of Company priorities and a sense of urgency.

  • High level of enthusiasm, with the ability to remain flexible to meet internal and external needs.

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
