Business Support Specialist, Saab Hungary

Your role
We are now looking for a Business Support Specialist for Saab’s Country Office in Budapest, Hungary.
Under general direction, the Business Support Specialist provides operational and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of Saab’s business in Hungary. This role involves a combination of project management, marketing communication activities, administrative duties, as well as support to the Country Manager Hungary and various business units within Saab`s organization.
This role typically requires 3-5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Country Manager Hungary to support all aspects of the administration of the Hungarian office and its internal and external visitors, including travel arrangements and itineraries;
- Assist in marketing efforts as required including: planning, managing and/or supporting local events and trade shows, e.g., Defence and Security expos, conferences etc. Collaboration with Saab’s Communication departments with preparation of internal/external advertisements and announcements, creation and distribution of media monitoring reports;
- Administrative tasks in relation to the Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool and management of local sponsorship arrangements;
- Professionally undertake document management processes, including the handling of confidential and non-routine information;
- Handle facility management, office supplies management i.e. printing, mail and courier services for the office;
- Serve as a primary point of contact and coordination between Saab’s Hungarian office and various corporate functions, such as (but not limited to) finance, security, and business support functions;
- Support to the Country Manager Hungary in executing business development activities in collaboration with the business units in Sweden including communication with industrial and other stakeholders in Hungary;
- Support the Country Manager Hungary with business intelligence gathering related to Saab’s business in Hungary;
- Administrative support to the Country Manger Hungary in meeting Saab’s and national OHS and general compliance guidelines and policies. Those include but not only: Collaboration with external OHS providers checking, updating and filling in the OHS documentation/reports regularly according to the valid regulation in the country and Saab’s requirements and assisting during OHS audits;
- Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives as needed.
The role also includes:
- Participation in Saab trainings seminars and conferences (upon invitation and approval).
- Business travels within the region and Sweden are expected.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing and Management, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in business and administrative support or similar role.
- Hungarian citizen with excellent knowledge of verbal and written Hungarian and English languages with ability to translate and adapt messaging from English to Hungarian taking into account the cultural, political, geopolitical and linguistic specifics.
- Positive and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, strong business acumen with high personal integrity in business ethics
- Well-organized, structured and detail-oriented person with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple competing tasks simultaneously
- Project management and presentational skills and experience
- Excellent computer literacy including MS Office and corporate systems
- Good knowledge of the public procurement legal requirements as well as defence sector experience is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Saab’s product portfolio and regional business priorities

Saab has been present in Hungary with its own office since 2003 following the selection of the Gripen System as the Hungarian Air Forces new fighter jet.
