Responsibilities and learning opportunities may include:
Design and integration of JAVA messaging and mediation services on a nation-wide enterprise cloud platform
Perform analysis of messaging / integration requirements to determine solutions and customizations
Install, configure, deploy and troubleshoots issues on middleware messaging for applications in a complex, multi-platform environment (z/OS, Linux, Windows); interacts and consults with development teams on technical issues
Configuring ActiveMQ, Weblogic and Solace Brokers from an infrastructure perspective, including performance monitoring, integration functions, delivery status and network management
Participating in technical reviews and status meetings

Skills and Experience:
Familiarity/experience with ActiveMQ, Solace and/or WebLogic Messaging and Mediation
Familiarity/experience with Linux is a must have
Familiarity/experience with Scripting including SQL, PowerShell, JSON, and Python
Familiarity with Messaging Middleware/Integration – Understanding of the application middleware space
Familiarity with Microsoft, SQL Server, Oracle, virtualization, monitoring including APM, and Linux
Enrollment in an accredited degree program, with a major in engineering or computer science
Completion of Sophomore year or greater
