Customer Project Managers to Surface Radar Solutions
Surface Radar Solutions is now looking for Customer Project Managers!
As Customer Project Manager you will take full responsibility for all project management aspects including:
Project definition and bid preparations
Active sales team member including team interaction with customers and partners as well as Marketing Area and Saab management
Project management during the execution phase of contracts
Interface towards our customers during execution and responsible for fulfillment of contract including negotiations
Ensure short and long term profitability of the projects and secure that the goals are fulfilled
Challenge the organization to continuously improve in order to contribute to increased efficiency in our operations
Inform and establish commitment for the project in the organization in order to meet the customers’ expectations and to ensure commercial success of your projects
The work is of an event driven nature where both initiative and the ability to evaluate situations and options are needed, sometimes in a time critical manner.
You have a technical background and leadership experience with focus on business and customer understanding. You have a financial understanding and experience from project management and contract negotiations are highly qualifying.
You are comfortable working both independently within your field of competence as well as with other interfaces in order to secure quality, to meet directives and deadlines.
You are a team player, willing to walk the extra mile for your team and its objectives. We believe you do have drive, perseverance and an interest for understanding the circumstances and conditions relevant for each customer solution and business case.
You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. You are prepared to travel and learn new things and you easily find yourself in different environments and cultures.
What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
Business Unit Radar Solutions has global responsibility for Saab’s ground based and naval radar systems, as well as airborne surveillance solutions and fighter radar. The business unit is also responsible for missile data links and laser range finders. The unit has around 1100 employees and offices around the world, with the largest sites being Gothenburg (SE) and Syracuse (US).
Product Unit Surface Radar Solutions is responsible for profit & loss of our surface radar portfolio (excluding products within the responsibility of S3) including both systems sales and services business.
Within Surface Radar Solutions the Project Management office is responsible for executing all won contracts and base projects with the main task to secure good profitability, cash flow, delivery precision, quality and customer satisfaction over time. The unit is organized in two groups: Systems and Services working closely with Marketing & Sales to win our business and with Engineering and Sourcing & Production when it comes to deliver our contracts.
