Job Description:

Saab, Inc. is currently seeking a Customer Service Director for its Regional Aircraft support business. Saab was founded in Sweden as an aircraft manufacturer in 1937 and continues to produce Military Aircraft for various customers around the world. Saab also produced 550 Commercial aircraft most of which fly everyday with 42 different customers in 21 countries.  

As the Customer Service Director, you would be working out of our Global Support Center in Ashburn, Virginia. You will be successful in making connections, identifying solutions, helping customers, and working with world-class technologies and teammates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sales and Marketing of the Products in the Customer Support Product portfolio as the face of Saab to all assigned customer accounts

  • Fostering relationships with Aircraft Leasing Companies, Brokers and Owners

  • Development of new Products is based on market information.

  • Establishing Sales agreements/contracts

  • Assuring that marketing information is carried out in a controlled manner

  • Conducting annual survey and other informal customer surveys and providing recommendations from the results

  • Developing market plans for each customer and revise every quarter.

  • Setting actions to increase spare sales, improve spares availability, raise aircraft reliability and lower costs.

Skills and Experience:

Experience

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business discipline or related discipline

  • 10+ years of experience

Requirements

  • Significant experience interfacing with commercial airline customers

  • Clear and articulate communicator with strong written and oral skills

  • Excellent time manager who can independently prioritize, focus, and self-motivate

  • Effective and engaging presenter

  • Comfortable managing and interacting at all levels of the organization, internal and external

  • Sales or program management experience preferred

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
