The role

As part of our Maritime group, The Enterprise Partnering Agreement (EPA) Lead will be responsible for ensuring Saab’s compliance with the overall EPA contract in terms of product delivery and reporting, and for establishing and maintaining an enterprise-level approach to Combat Management Systems Capability (CMS) capability delivered to the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA).

Further, the successful candidate will:

  • Working under the guidance of the Product Director, ensure that Saab Maritime is taking a partnership-focused and product-based approach to delivering 9LV CMS capability to the CoA
  • With technical support, maintain a 9LV CMS product roadmap
  • Drive opportunities for common approaches and reuse of effort across projects within the EPA portfolio.
  • Contribute to planning activities and risk management related to the 9LV CMS product
  • Report on 9LV CMS product activities and related project deliveries to Saab management and the Commonwealth
  • Manage the EPA Probity process, which controls the data that Saab receives from the Commonwealth as part of its EPA activities
  • Work with other managers across the Maritime business to ensure a collaborative internal approach to EPA activities
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and other EPA stakeholders

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering, science or business discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in complex Defence or adjacent industry project environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead staff within a team environment and to foster cooperation within and between teams
  • Proven ability in internal and external stakeholder management including customer liaison
  • Well-developed problem solving skills and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
