Head of Marketing & Sales Saab Barracuda
As Head of Marketing & Sales for Business Unit Barracuda, you will be responsible for Order Intake for the entire Business Unit and have the responsibility to lead a sales team. It will be your responsibility to plan and execute the marketing and sales work as well as coordinate, consolidate, prioritize and support the work with the team and with Saab Group Marketing & Sales.
You will represent BU Barracuda in various M&S fora’s such as Exhibition and Marcom meetings. You will also be point of contact for the Saab Group Marketing and Sales organization for BU-level reporting and forecasting. You will also be responsible for certain tollgate decisions in the Saab Winning Business process. You will be part of BU Barracuda Management team and you will be measured on key performance indicators related to the order intake and Marketing and Sales cost.
We are looking for a person with excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire others to perform. You will need to demonstrate very good communicative leadership skills in order to create commitment and energy within all parts of the organization. Your ability to establish a performance driven culture within the different global M&S-teams will be essential.
Your main responsibility is to position the camouflage and deception offering on the market and secure that BU Barracuda will capture and close sound business. This requires business development, winning instincts, drive and follow-through, ability to prioritize and knowledge and understanding of the marketing, operational and financial functions of the organization and the ability to make good judgments and decisions. You are expected to work not only within your individual area of responsibility, being part of the Management Team also implies contribution in solving other challenges.
The position requires international travel on a regular basis.
We believe that you have the following skills:
- Appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a business oriented and/or technical discipline.
- Experience from marketing and sales, project management and/or systems engineering of products.
- Strong business understanding and customer focus.
- A strong desire to win and improve our business.
- Ability to balance what is needed to win, with what makes sound business
- Skills to combine strategic thinking with operational prioritizations, actions and constraints
- Strong drive and ability to create commitment, energy and relations within the organization.
- Proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging the organization
