Saab is looking for an Interim Junior Treasury Analyst that will be part of Saab Group Treasury. You will work at Middle Office that supports the Saab pension fund and Saab Treasury with system maintenance and analysis. The Group Treasury function is the Saab Group’s in-house bank and responsible for managing the Group’s financial exposures.
As a junior Treasury analyst, you will be part of a highly skilled and driven team that will guide and support you during your period of employment. You will focus on system maintenance and occasionally support the organization with financial data analysis.
The main tasks are:
- Super user in Quantum, our Treasury Management System, and surrounding IT-environment
- System maintenance (such as job scheduling, file processing and to some extent programming)
- Ad hoc data analysis
- Participation in process improvements and projects
Initially this is a time limited position ending in December 31th 2023.
To be successful in this position we anticipate that you are a problem solver with good system knowledge and motivation to learn. You have a University degree preferably from Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Information Systems or similar discipline. Understanding of financial investment and risk modeling is advantageous.
As a person, you have a high analytical ability and can prioritize effectively; further, you are proactive and eager to learn and explore. You must be able to handle a diverse amount of tasks and thrives in a high pace environment. You are service minded and have good communication skills preferably both in Swedish and English. We see that you are just finalizing you university studies or have one or two years of working experience from a similar role.
- Bachelor / Master Degree Holder from Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Information Systems or similar disciplines
- Communication skills in English, verbal and written
- Basic understanding from at least one programming language
- Genuin interest in system and database maintanance (or motivated and interested to learn)
- Highly committed to your wok
- Motivated to learn in the Financial Market
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
