IT Service Manager
The Service Manager Sherpa has full operational responsibility of the IFS installation and the support activities on D2D basis. The Service Manager have a Business Facing role and reports on D2D basis to the Business Solution Manager within relevant Business Area. The Service Manger is also responsible for planning and leading the work related to resource management and development activities. The Service Manager works closely to the Service Owner for ERP/MRP Solutions and takes parts in different forums within the ERP/MRP Solution section and also have the responsibility to drive changes forward. This means, being part of the transformation work that is going on within Group IT. The Service Manager also have financial responsibility to follow up on work done (T&M), invoice handling and monthly closing etc. It also includes being part of budget/forecast discussions, creating new services and roadmaps together with Business Area representatives.
The Service Manager is a self-driven person that is ready to take responsibility and is motivated to drive changes forward for the best of the specific IFS installation and ERP/MRP Solutions section. IFS knowledge is preferred and is useful for the D2D work but leadership skills and interest for working with support operations and processes are more important.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
You will be part of the ERP/MRP Solutions team that is responsible for delivering services and IFS support for the Business Areas: Aeronautics, Support & Services, Surveillance, Dynamics, Kockums and Denmark. We are also supporting an Aeronautics installation in Brazil and we are right now extending our global initiative to support the IFS installations in South Africa, Australia and Unites States.
We are also delivering support and services for Novacura and Code Management, the latter is a concept for developing IFS Customizations. The ERP/MRP Solutions team mainly consist of Service Managers, Queue Coordinators and Developers. To be able meet to meet all demands we are utilizing resources from the Resource and Competence Team: Business Solutions.
The ERP/MRP team is on a journey towards more effective and agile ways of working and as a Service Manager you will contribute in the work of handling resources and develop new ways of working.
