Lead Master Planner
Saab, Inc., in Orlando, FL., due to new contract win, has an immediate need for a dynamic, results-oriented individual as a Lead Master Planner to serve in support of the Training and Simulation Business Area. You will be joining a dynamic team supporting United States Marine Corps and US Army training and simulation programs with a focus on the Live Training Domain. As such you will lead the development and maintenance of a complex Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) in support of development and integration of advanced Live Training Capabilities to be fielded to the USMC and US Army.
Lead the development and implementation of complex integrated master schedules for a variety of long running programs
Identify and proactively manage program schedule risks associated with development, procurement, fielding and lifecycle support of complex live training capabilities to USMC and US Army
Coordinate with Program Management and Finance to maintain and track cost and schedule baselines supported by Component, Subsystem and Functional leads
Coordinate schedule tracking and variance analysis across wide, geographically dispersed group of customer, company and subcontractor resources
Provide detailed weekly analysis of critical path activities and variances to Program management
Provide schedule status to customer/contractor IPT leadership
Develop, maintain and deliver Integrated Master Schedule CDRL
Skills and Experience:
Bachelors Degree or Higher in a relevant discipline
PMP Certification desired
10 to 15 years serving in the System Integration function on large, complex programs including “cradle to grave” program lifecycles
Experience developing and maintaining complex, multi-faceted IMS using Microsoft Projects
Experience developing and Maintaining Resource Loaded Networks
Experience identifying and managing complex critical path networks
Experience providing concise and incisive analysis of IMS based risks and variances in complex program environments
Experience briefing IMS status to customer and Executive stakeholders up to and including General Officer level.
