Your role

We are seeking an individual who is eager to make a difference and be part of our exciting journey in developing our Learning Landscape to support our growth!

Join our Learning & Development Team at Group Human Resources, where you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development of the Saab Learning Landscape.

In this key position, you will closely collaborate with Group Strategy, internal competence owners in critical technology areas, and external partners from industries and academia. Your responsibilities include assessing competence needs, leading the curation of strategic Learning Journeys, and serving as a key interface with Technical Competence Owners and stakeholders in the Business Areas.

The main tasks are:

  • Actively work towards building a strong continuous learning culture with focus on learning in the flow of work
  • Lead Learning Design and Program Management in close collaboration with Saabs Learning Community, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and external partners from industries and academia
    • Drive Saab's business needs into learning offerings:
      • Develop strategies to translate Saab's business needs into effective learning offerings in critical competence areas.
    • Strengthen Saab's learning landscape:
      • Explore innovative approaches to offer learning, create relevant curricula, and design comprehensive journeys. Curate content for the target group, developing learning pathways, programs, and campaigns to enhance the overall learning experience.
    • Utilize data for strategic decisions:
      • Utilize our Strategic Workforce Plan and related learning data for analysis. This serves as a foundation for decisions, measures effectiveness and usage, and assesses the impact of our initiatives.
    • Manage projects and collaborations:
      • Liase with external consortia including partners from industry and academia, handle procurement of external vendors and partners. Connect and work with internal programs and projects in R&T Clusters, Group Functions, Business Areas and Operational Countries, eg Strategic Workforce Planning and strategic learning initiatives.

You will be part of a great team in Learning & Development, which, through strong collaborations, is responsible for Saab Group's common guidelines, processes, and solutions within the areas of learning and development, from Strategic Workforce Planning to Learning Offerings in Strategic Areas for Saab.

L&D serves as a key interface towards competence owners, driving our Learning Strategy based on our Strategic Business Plan. We develop learning offerings to fill gaps for common short and long-term competence needs.

Your profile

You have a passion for developing people and will play an important role in our learning organisation and transformation. As a senior learning and development specialist, you possess the ability to drive complex projects in close collaboration with stakeholders, delivering results. Working with the team, you will strengthen our learning organisation and our capacity to create business value in the short and long term.

Required skills:

  • A relevant academic degree.
  • Extensive and relevant experience in the Learning & Development area.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong collaboration and networking skills, emphasizing industry and academy collaboration with a focus on learning.
  • Strong Program and Project Management skills.
  • You need a holistic approach and the ability to embrace a broad perspective with a growth mindset.

Desired skills:

  • Experience in learning transformations and change management.
  • Experience in procurement and organisational setups of learning consortia in both industry and academia.
  • Insights and interest in Learning Technology and Learning Experience
  • Leadership and managerial experience.

The position can be located either in Stockholm at Saab HQ or in Linköping.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
