Do you want to be a part of building the new Cyber product unit that develops systems and services to increase the level of cyber security in Saabs portfolio? We are now looking for a manager for the development Pipeline section.

Your role

In our Business Unit Combat Systems, we develop and deploy complex, software-based, high-performance military command and control (C2) and fire control systems (FCS). The Product Unit Cyber is responsible for the DevOps of development environments for hundreds of systems and software engineers, working to develop a range of C2/FCS products. We use many different programming languages and development tools, and our products are security and safety critical, often real-time for digital control and apply big data technology for managing external sensors.

Your role is to manage the Pipeline section that develops and operates our continuous integration, deployment and test (CI/CD/CT) pipeline, enabling our developers to efficiently produce high quality code.

The section currently consists of two teams.

The main tasks are:

  • Ensure that our C2/FCS products can be developed efficiently through a pipeline with a high degree of automation, facilitating support tools and quality control
  • Drive the development productivity for key products in the business unit, and integrate the network of likeminded within Saab
  • Develop competence in line with long-term strategic needs as well as daily operational needs
  • Create an environment for your staff and teams to perform at their best
  • Responsible for line budget result and follow-up
  • Responsible for the health and work environment for your staff
  • Close interaction with development and product managers

Your profile

We are looking for a person who leads by coaching and cultivating people to perform and feel well.

You have good business understanding, leadership and change management skills. You like to challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives. You have a collaborative approach and a drive to succeed and deliver at all times.

Further, the successful candidate has a broad profile with at least the following attributes:

  • Experienced in project execution
  • Strong social skills, team player willing to walk the extra mile
  • Well acquainted with modern ways of, and tools for, working with Software

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations for security. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
