Manager CAMO office
We are searching for a CAMO Office Manager with aviation regulations and leadership experience.
This is an opportunity for a credible and experienced candidate who understands the Technical and Regulatory responsibilities of the role and can develop a flexible and efficient environment that matches our business model and culture. The candidate will form part of key decision-making processes to both civil and military requirements in close dialogue and cooperation with the Technical Director (TD) and with interface with Part 145 organisation for a smooth operation by delivering on-time reliable and serviceable aircraft.
Support Solutions is in a process where we change the organisational structure within the CAMO organisation from a de-centralized to a centralized organisation. Therefore, we are searching for a CAMO Office Manager with aviation regulations and leadership experience. You will be responsible for a team of approx. 15 persons located at different sites in Sweden. For success in this role, it is essential that the initial work with building the new organisation as well as the long-term daily work is carried out in close dialogue and cooperation with the Technical Director (TD).
Example of duties and responsibilities:
Effective management of CAMO organisation,
ensure that engineering, planning, airworthiness review and other continuing airworthiness management activities are conducted in effective and reliable manner and meet the company strategies, expectations as well as relevant regulations and requirements,
ensure development and effective implementation of processes and procedures throughout the organisation,
ensure liaison with regulatory authorities, original equipment manufacturers (OEM), Part-145 approved maintenance organisations contracted and other operationally relevant external entities.
ensure effective cost control, participate in organization budget preparation and effective implementation of it,
take part in preparation and negotiation of relevant agreements
ensure effective safety and quality assurance implementation throughout entire organisation.
We are looking for a person with a broad background from the Aviation Branch. Proven experience from leadership roles and good communication skills is a necessity. God knowledge of Part M/CAMO and Part 145 is crucial as well as knowledge of Safety Management Systems, Quality Systems and auditing processes. We think you have a god IT knowledge with experience from different fleet management systems, within this organisation we use IFS “Sherpa” so previous experience from working with an IFS system is beneficially. You will work in an international environment so fluent English language, written and spoken is required.
Experience and Skills:
Documented experience of leading qualified work teams.
Documented experience from the Aviation Branch.
Knowledge and experienced from Continuing Airworthiness.
Understanding and knowledge of EASA Part M or SE-EMAR M.
Experience in MS Office and IFS system (Sherpa)
Demonstrate a credible, assertive and “can-do” attitude
Proficiency in English.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
