Saab is seeking a Manufacturing System Application Analyst to help establish and grow our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in West Lafayette, Indiana where we manufacture the rear section of the T-7A Red Hawk military trainer aircraft for the United States Air Force. The Manufacturing System Application Analyst will be responsible for application troubleshooting, support, continuous improvement and development of the Manufacturing application capabilities.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide System Application support to end users
Drive educational efforts and develop educational materials for end users
Work with the business to define needs, generate requirements and plan tasks
Design, configure, test and document system solutions based on business requirements
Test bug fixes and change work
Participate in projects and development assignments linked to the Manufacturing Applications
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Manufacturing engineering or related discipline
Experience in Manufacturing systems support and integrations with ERP, PLM and MES systems, preferably Dassault 3DExperience, Catia, PolyWorks, Biztalk, and iBaseT Solumina
Experience with Linux based operating systems and database technologies Oracle and SQL
Experience with Windows based operating systems and with LAN/WAN architectures
Experience with containerized application deployment, including Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with BI reporting and statistical analysis, including Power BI
Knowledge of Model Based Definition and Methodology for test & verification of PLM-system
Knowledge in Manufacturing Planning & Work Instruction authoring
Strong analytical and investigative skills
High levels of accountability, demonstrated initiative and innovation
Flexibility and ability to manage workload and achieve results with minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively in an international project team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to perform well under pressure
Citizenship Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
