Product System Test Lead
We currently looking for an experienced Product System Test Lead ATM
As Product System Test Lead you are capable of quickly becoming familiar with Saab Integrated Air Traffic Control Suite product (I-ATS) and will be part of an international product development team located in Apeldoorn, Syracuse (USA) and Gothenburg (Sweden). You will be responsible for organizing the verification of all requirements, varying from automated unit testing to system level tests. You will define a process for performing the validation in the most time effective and cost effective approach. Note that this is NOT a mechanical, aerospace, or avionics engineering position, the work is software-focused.
At present the I-ATS test team is lead and mainly located in Syracuse, mid next year the system test activities will be transferred and executed in Apeldoorn and Gothenburg. At the start you will work as a member of the I-ATS test team, coordinate the transfer and become responsible for executing these test activities at both locations in Europe.
For your role, it is expected that you will be travelling a few times a year to Sweden.
You are responsible to:
Planning, leading and taking part in verification and validation activities
Providing technical oversight for a team of 2 to 4 test engineers in both Gothenburg and Apeldoorn
Expending the automated testing to support the continues integration process
Allocating resources, including personnel, tools, equipment, and labs
Developing, documenting, and executing test approaches and procedures
Ensuring compliance with ED-109A software safety objectives
Participating in status meetings
Advise on process improvements
Advise on requirements definition
Higher degree in a relevant subject or relevant experience;
Preferably 3 or more years of experience as tester or test lead
Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and written and preferably in Dutch;
Planning and scheduling skills;
Knowledge of system test engineering;
Knowledge of Linux and preferable safety, network and security;
Understanding of Air Traffic Management (preferable);
European Union residency or work permit / visa / citizenship in the European Union
