The R&D teams are developing extremely complex and innovative electronic warfare sensor systems, motivated by a clear target: to keep people safe. We're seeking a Production Test Lead with hands-on development expertise to join our team and collaborate on creating best-in-class production test systems.
Your role
As a Production Test Lead at Saab Sensor Technology Center, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and performance of our cutting-edge products. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from managing instrument calibrations to driving the evolution of our testing capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our production testing processes.
What do we expect you to bring to the table?
As our Production Test Lead, you will be responsible for building our production testing capability and taking full ownership of the entire production testing process over its entire lifecycle. You will be responsible for calibrating production test rigs and measuring equipment, coordinating technical upgrades of test rigs in collaboration with product development projects, and ensuring that there is sufficient measurement device capacity in production. In cases of deficiencies and areas for improvement, you will ensure that investments are initiated in a timely manner to guarantee the timely delivery of customer orders.
You have a technical background in RF and the ability to support RF measurement solutions related to production during the product development phase. You seamlessly track measurement information generated by production test systems, monitor defined KPI values for production, and report to the product development team in cases of ambiguity or problems. As part of your daily tasks, you will also be responsible for training the production test team and providing technical support to production quality engineers in supplier quality-related issues. However, in addition to technical skills, you are a person who fits seamlessly into our team, and that's what matters most.

Your work place will be at Saab Sensor Technology Center in Tampere downtown in newly renovated premises. Since Saab is a global company, this role requires fluent communication with colleagues abroad, and may require some travelling (mainly short visits to Sweden occasionally).
