The role
As part of Saab’s role on the Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP), the Project Manager will drive and support the delivery of the Combat Systems capability for the HCFP.
The successful candidate will:
Develop and manage of the associated Delivery Team schedule, cost, risk and opportunity baseline, including raising of BCRs when required
Provide general program management assistance and advice to the Combat System control account managers and other discipline line managers
Develop monthly CAM reports including summarised progress, schedule, EVM and R&O data
Review and analyse OEM CDRL Project Management deliverables
Support the monthly drumbeat cycle of project schedule progress, R&O reviews and EAC updates
Support the Quarterly Look Ahead cycle.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- Tertiary qualification in science, engineering or business, or equivalent experience
- Ability to motivate and influence individuals and teams to shape and implement business requirements
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management
- Ability to negotiate with and influence internal and/or external stakeholders in a way which generates business benefit whilst maintaining key relationships
- Ability to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of difference audiences
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
