We are rapidly growing our business in the global Defence Market, so we are looking for new colleagues to join our project  teams. If you are motivated to work with digital and analogue  communication  systems within defence projects and have a broad knowledge of radio systems and antennas, you might be  our new RF/EMC Engineer. 

Your role

As our new RF/EMC Engineer, you will support our experts in all related RF and EMC aspects of our naval projects. This includes system design based on customer requirements and support of EMC and TEMPEST measurements incl. documentation in terms of test plans, procedures, and reports.

 

We expect you to be experienced with naval projects and that you are familiar with naval communication systems in general and experienced with RF sub-systems (HF, V/UHF, Satcom) and the respective concepts systems and units. Experience with electronic warfare (ÈW) is a plus.

Key technologies, tasks and terms for this position:

  • Electromagnetic Compatibility / Interference (EMC/EMI)
  • Measurement of conducted and radiated emissions
  • Measurement of conducted and radiated susceptibility
  • Creation of test plan, test procedure and test report
  • Planning and execution of qualification tests
  • Red / black separation
  • COTS and MOTS equipment
  • Relevant standards: MIL-STD 461, VG-95373 and similar

Personal qualifications

You enjoy working with technical challenges and you are motivated by working with new technologies and communication systems and are curious to analyze the mutual influence and interference of these systems. You have a structured and methodical approach to task solving, and understand the importance of documenting your work and the measurement results. You enjoy working in an international environment, and are capable of balancing a holistic view of the project with the detailed view on the specific task.

We expect you to hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering with high frequency and RF engineering skills or similar with relevant work experience. We expect your willingness to travel (also abroad), flexibility, creativity and dedication to the job, fluent English and German in speaking and writing, additionally skills in the Danish language is a plus.

As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and/or successfully demonstrate eligibility to receive applicable government security clearance(s).
