Scrum Master for 9LV SW development teams

Welcome to the naval side of life! We are now looking for a Scrum Master for software development teams in the naval sphere. Not only are we providing software to more than ten customers simultaneously, we are also cooperating with Australia and Finland in delivering the striking performance of the 9LV Combat Management System. Your Role

As a 9LV Scrum Master, you work as a servant leader and coach for a team of software engineers. The team is responsible for delivering working functionality to our customer projects including design, formal documentation, such as requirements and test reports, as well as basis for technical manuals. Your task is to help educate the team in agile methodology ensuring that the agreed agile process is being followed. Further it is to help remove impediments, coordinate with other teams and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvements.

9LV is on our agile journey. We set off a few years ago and today we are about ten teams in Sweden delivering together in our ten plus customer projects. One of our challenges is when our waterfall contracts meet the iterative “learning more as we go” way of working that scrum provides. We are now looking for an experienced scrum master driven by curiosity and humility for where we are and where we wish to be in cooperation with our customer projects.

Your profile

You have a collaborative mind-set and you are a true team player that encourages an open, trustful and innovative climate. You share information in a clear and easy way, both verbally and in writing. You are a confident communicator in both Swedish and English.

Last but not least, you prefer leadership rather than management!

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
