Senior IT Support Professional
Saab's, Information Communication Technology (ICT) team is looking for an experienced Senior IT professional with a strong understanding of ITIL practices, end-user systems, and customer service to fill a Senior IT Support Professional position. Desired location for this position is Syracuse, NY or West Lafayette, IN. However, other office locations include; Orlando, FL, Washington D.C., and Ashburn VA.
Delivering a customer service-oriented approach to the facets of Information Technology in support of the organizations' end-point computing devices and peripherals.
Effectively using problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues, as well as provide input to process improvement efforts.
Quickly establishing credible relationships with key stakeholders.
Providing hardware, software, and network support to internal customers.
Interacting with internal or external customers on technical and programmatic issues.
Effectively using tools such as VMWare Workspace ONE UEM, SCCM, SCSM, Orchestrator, Intune, and other similar tools with a focus on imagine, software roll-out, patch management and security implementation.
Evaluating and applying department policies and procedures to effective execution.
Contributing to the adoption of new design and development approaches to improve overall quality, reliability, and speed of implementation.
Mentorship of levels 1 and 2 team members.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in an information technology or a computer science discipline or related discipline is required.
6+ years of relevant IT experience.
Understanding of processes and procedures with capability to suggest improvements
Ability to configure and deploy endpoint computing devices on an enterprise scale
Understanding of Asset Management
Solid organizational, documentation, verbal and writing communication skills.
Ability and willingness to handle off-hours support, including on-call
Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team.
