We are looking for a Software Assurance Specialist. This Specialist will help our organization with guidance to ensure that our software products meet high standards of security, reliability, and quality.
The Software Assurance Specialist will work closely with our development and quality assurance teams to identify and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
Your role
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance how to develop and implement (automated) software assurance processes, procedures and standards
Provide support on how to efficiently conduct security and risk assessments on software products and identify vulnerabilities on 3:rd party products as well as inner source products and own developed code
Guide the organization on how to develop and maintain automated testing tools and scripts for security, reliability and quality testing
Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to address vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation strategies
Provide guidance and training to development and quality assurance teams on software assurance best practices
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for software assurance including ISO and DO178/278 standards
Your profile
Qualifications:
Experience with software testing tools and techniques
Strong understanding of software development and software assurance best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
