Solutions and Test Engineer
Role Purpose
As a member of a SAFE solutions or project team the Solutions and Test Engineer works with customers to develop and configure solutions, enable SAFE features or integrations. Combining experience of application development and configuration, SAFE features and software testing, the role has a particular focus on ensuring the effective testing of solutions before deployment to customer environments.
Key responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and execute testing (creating and executing test cases, logging defects etc.)
- Support Project Manager and Product Owner to ensure adequate end-to-end testing before deployment to customer sites
- Investigate and resolve identified problems, bugs or similar with SAFE deployments
- Develop and configure solutions for customers (enablement of SAFE features, integrations to external services/products etc)
- Deploy SAFE solutions, integrations at customer sites
- Develop demonstrations of SAFE configurations for different customer groups, segments
Experience/Qualifications
Essential
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Software Quality Assurance
- Knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
- Strong experience of functional and non-functional testing
- Experience of managing, configuring and/or developing applications and integrations
- Good communications skills
Desirable
- Experience of Testrail and/or Atlassian tools
- SQA relevant qualification
- Basic development experience/skills
- C#/.NET experience / skills
