Job Description:

Saab, Inc. is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to contribute as an integral part of the Shared Services Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to learn in a fast paced environment. 

This individual will be key in supporting the Accounting Department and have previous experience working in such areas as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue, Invoicing, Inventory, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting. As a Staff Accountant, you will also responsible for assisting with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.

Skills and Experience:

  • B.S degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Two years accounting experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Oracle experience helpful, but not required

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Solid written and oral communication skills and analytical problem solving

  • Sound and consistent business judgment, a good grasp of Company priorities and a sense of urgency

  • High level of enthusiasm, with the ability to remain flexible to meet internal and external needs

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
