System Integration Engineer for Defence Projects

Your role

As our System Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for system integration management within our naval projects. You coordinate all aspects of integration of all kinds of systems with all relevant stakeholders in the project, such as colleagues, suppliers, customers and end customers. Based on customer requirements, you will plan the system integration and support your colleagues during the project phase’s development, design, qualification, test and installation.

 

We expect you to be experienced with naval projects both on system engineering and project management level and that you are familiar with naval communication systems in general. You have the ability to analyse errors, problems, weak points and dependencies and are able to find qualified solutions.

The main tasks for this position are:

  • System requirement analysis, management and traceability
  • Support for design and specification of systems and sub-systems
  • Integration of complex sub-/systems to required solutions
  • Verification of interoperability of sub-/systems
  • Coordination of technical interfaces with sub-contractors
  • Creation of technical agreements with sub-contractors
  • Creation of test documents at system level
  • Planning of tests and approvals with the customer

Personal qualifications

You enjoy working with technical challenges and you are motivated by bringing systems to interoperate with each other. You have a structured and methodical approach to task solving and are experienced with integration and design of communication solutions. You enjoy working in an international environment, and are capable of balancing a holistic view of the project with the detailed view on the specific task.

 

We expect you to hold an M.Sc. in systems engineering or similar and that you have relevant work experience from the Armed Forces, defence industry or similar. We expect your willingness to travel (also abroad), flexibility, creativity and dedication to the job. Fluent English and German in speaking and writing, additionally skills in the Danish language is a plus.

 

As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and/or successfully demonstrate eligibility to receive applicable government security clearance(s).
