System Lead for Sensor Systems

Your role

Saab Digital Sensor Core will enable fast insertion of new technology using common building blocks and continuous delivery at high speed for future sensor systems at Surveillance. We lead the design and development of the Saab Digital Sensor Core in close cooperation with the different development organizations at Business Area Surveillance. The common building blocks will be continuously integrated and verified in our labs and demonstrators.

We now need system leads for sensor systems to:

  • Lead the system engineering activities and coordinate interactions with stakeholders

  • Set the architecture and specify the requirements

  • Be responsible for requirements, architecture and compliance

  • Participating in the verification to secure that requirements, standards and regulations are fulfilled

  • As a part of our system team work closely with other design teams to secure efficient solutions

Your profile

We are looking for passionate technical leaders who want to be part of our journey building the Saab Digital Sensor Core and contribute to a collaborative work environment with transparency, respect and trust for each other. To be successful in the position, you need to be a team player and have the ability to motivate and engage others.

Experience in the field of systems engineering, requirement management and system architecture are highly appreciated. Our products cover a wide area of technical disciplines so we expect that you have a degree in the area of either high frequency function, mechanics, software/firmware, signal processing, electronics or computer platforms. You also need excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
