Your role

As our new System Requirements Engineer, you will be responsible for the management of all requirements within one of our naval projects. Together with other engineers of the project team, you will analyse the customer requirements. After classification and structuring, you will manage the requirements within our requirement management tool and develop a model to trace the requirements across all project phase and manage to handle changes. Further, you will support the system engineers with the definition of system requirements and required system behaviour and system performance.

We expect you to be experienced with naval projects on system engineering level and that you are familiar with naval communication systems in general.

Key disciplines and tasks for this position:

  • System requirement analysis, management and traceability
  • Knowledge of tools for requirements and task management
  • Classification and structuring of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Development of a model within the requirement management tool
  • Maintenance and processing of technical requirements and data
  • Coordination of customer requirements with the departments and suppliers involved
  • Definition of system requirements and required system behaviour and system performance
  • Planning, execution and moderation of reviews

Personal qualifications

You enjoy working with technical challenges and are motivated by working with new technologies, products and systems. You have a structured and methodical approach to task solving and are experienced with requirements management. You enjoy working in an international environment, and are capable of balancing a holistic view of the project with the detailed view on the specific task.

 

We expect you to hold a M.Sc. in systems engineering or similar or relevant work experience from the Armed Forces or defence industry. We expect your willingness to travel (also abroad), flexibility, creativity and dedication to the job, fluent English in speaking and writing, additionally skills in the Danish and German language are a plus.

 

As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and/or successfully demonstrate eligibility to receive applicable government security clearance(s).
