Talent Acquisition Coordinators – 6mth FTC

The role

As part of our People & Culture group, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide effective and efficient assistance and proactive support to the Talent Acquisition team and candidates throughout the end-to-end recruitment process.

Further, the successful candidate will:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the TA team for internal and external stakeholders, assigning ServiceHub tickets to other TA team members as required.
  • Provide full coordination and support to the Talent Acquisition team at each stage of the internal or external recruitment process, including: drafting and posting job adverts; generating and issuing internal vacancy communications; schedule interviews with multiple stakeholders around availability; monitor and manage the careers mailbox, facilitating candidate communications and updates, coordinating assessments and pre-employment checks, ensuring actions are distributed to the relevant team members; generating reports as necessary.
  • Coordinate the end to end new starter process including entry of all data and documents into the HRIS, contract generation and all other employment related documentation; create new starter forms and coordinate the on-boarding process; update HRIS, internal stakeholders and employee files.
  • Under direction and guidance of the Resourcing & Capability Manager, participate in supporting TA Partner work, such as phone screening, pre-employment checks, query response, early career program participation, secondment paperwork, liaison with third parties, maintaining data in HRIS and/or recruitment/resourcing sheets, etc
  • Maintenance of P&C forms and coordinating updates to policy, procedures, employee handbook and P&C intranet pages, etc

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office will be considered for this role.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Highly customer focused with excellent communication and diplomacy skills
  • Strong telephone, verbal, and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively establish working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary TA practices
  • Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise work, strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace to meet established timeframes
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications) high proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Experience using a HRIS, preferably Workday or similar.


As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline level or have the ability to gain one.
