Your role
The technical sales team supports the sales organization with technical leadership in the tender process. As a member you will bridge between sales and system engineering. The work will be a mixture of preparing solution specifications, analyse customer requirements, gathering material and information from other specialists and to some extent present to customers. The technical sales engineer will:
- Participate in the tender process and ensure breakdown of technical requirements from customer inquiries
- Work closely with the sales colleagues to understand customer’s expectation of tender contents
- Take the lead on the overall design and description of technical solutions in close cooperation with experts from system engineering
- Participate in customer meetings and present technical solutions
Your profile
This opportunity requires a person who likes to act between sales and engineering. The candidate we are looking for is a team player with initiative and interpersonal skills. You have a broad technical background and work in a structured way.
We expect you to hold a degree either within engineering, computer science or a technical education with equivalent experience. If you have experience from communication or telecommunication this is very relevant.
We are in a global environment and therefore look for candidates with various backgrounds and experiences. We interact with each other and therefore need good communicators, who like to interact with stakeholders and who speak/write English.
