Your role
As contract manager, you will have an important role in our cross-functional team and focus on supporting existing contracts and business opportunities related to our training offerings.
You will contribute with your legal and commercial view on e.g., terms and conditions, business set-up and bid strategy. As Contract Manager you will take part in commercial activities ranging over several departments and stakeholders and often other Business Areas within Saab. You will also be a part of Contract management within Saab where you support each other in contractual issues. Organizational you will belong to the Business Support department at site Huskvarna.
As a Contract Manager you will work with different departments, mainly Market&Sales, but also supporting within procurement, project execution and software license management. Depending on your experience, knowledge and interest we will try to focus your role where we believe you will contribute and excel the most.
You will be positioned in Huskvarna but the job involves national as well as international travels.
In this role, you will:
Participate in and support during the whole process, offering, negotiation and execute business with legal and commercial expertise concerning terms and conditions
Review all types of contracts and agreements, e.g., sales, procurement, teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements
Participate in and support during negotiation with potential partners, suppliers and customers
Analyze legal and commercial risks
Drafting and design contracts and agreements
Analyze and support with legal and commercial aspects on strategy and business set-up
Inform and educate about commercial law, legal risks, contractual templates and guidelines
Support with improvements and effectiveness concerning Contract Management
Support flow-down of customer requirements into procurement contracts from a legal perspective
Support regarding license agreements, e.g., software licenses agreements
Collaborate with Saab-Group Legal Affairs and other internal stakeholders
Who you are
We expect you to have a high level of business acumen and commercial proficiency based on experience from previous work with contracts, negotiations and business proposals. You possess a team-oriented attitude, enjoys acting in a customer interface instilling trust and wants create commitment amongst those you meet in your day-by-day work.
We also believe that you are an excellent communicator with an aptitude for strategic thinking and solution-oriented creativity. As a person you have high self-management skills and can handle many parallel tasks in your work.
To succeed in this role, you have:
A relevant educational background at university level, preferably in Economics, Business Law or Master of Science
Hands-on experience from procurement, sales, negotiations or contract terms & conditions
A positive attitude to change and transformation are essential characteristics to be successful in this role.
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and written
It would be excellent if you also had:
Previous experience from working
with software licenses agreements
in an international environment
in a large business/organization
in a project organization
in defense or government organizations
with intellectual property rights
Knowledge in German, French and/or Spanish
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
