Are you an experienced engineer with a product Life Cycle focus and want to join our Product Management team? We focus on the development of Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems products, including the GlobalEye!
Your role
Airborne Ealy Warning and Control portfolio consists of a number of airborne surveillance products, such as GlobalEye and Saab 2000 AEW&C. The products are built on different kind of aircraft and utilizing a set of sensors, where the primary surveillance radar is the most important one. Each product includes a Support Solution.
You will be responsible for the development, profitability and marketability of the Support Solutions in the portfolio, throughout the complete product lifecycle.
Main tasks
Identify market opportunities based on end-user interests and needs, market and industry trends and technology break-troughs
Responsible for the Support Solutions product portfolio is based on high quality business decisions and aligned with the strategic plans, which covers the entire life cycle of the product, from opportunities to phase-out.
Specify, develop and maintain the support services/products.
The role involves both external and internal interactions. Externally, this includes customer discussions and negotiations, participation in the proposal process and definition of the unique customer product configuration. Internally, the work includes closely cooperation with support, system and engineering organizations; the necessary specialists in training, material flow, etc. Cooperation with Marketing & Sales will be part of the daily work.
Your profile
University Engineer or similar work experience rated equally
Previous knowledge and understanding of the existing Product Portfolio are an advantage
Experience in support and aftermarket.
Ability to drive the Product Portfolio progress and possess a high personal integrity.
Communicates fluently in Swedish and English.
To be successful you are comfortable with customer discussions and negotiations as well as participation in technical design decisions. You have the ability to motivate and engage others but also be able to organize, prioritize and take independent decisions to improve performance and profitability.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
