29. Research collaboration for another decade

International partnerships are key to Saab’s innovation. Earlier this year we extended the research collaboration between Saab and Aalto University in Finland. The research collaboration has focused on the areas of antenna technology, micro-electronics, radar signal processing, artificial intelligence, and hydroacoustic sensing since 2017. 26. Viggen a cultural icon

Earlier this year, Sweden's new "cultural canon" was presented, a collection of works and inventions that have shaped our national identity. Alongside the character of Pippi Longstocking and Hilma af Klint's paintings, the Saab 37 Viggen is also on the list. The aircraft was the backbone of the Swedish Air Force for three decades. It was the first aircraft outside the USA to be equipped with a computer and could also take off and land on short runways or motorways. For generations, we have developed technology with innovative power that creates security for people and societies, in the air, on land, and at sea. 25. 100 000 new shareholders

6. Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Saab

5. Strengthening Swedens resilience

Our subsidiary company Combitech’s Total Defence Report was released earlier this year. The report shows that 74 percent of decision-makers in the business sector want to learn more about total defence, yet only 11 percent have completed their preparedness planning.
