Our defence systems are featured in the new TV Series Conflict. Keep an eye out for Saab fighter jets, submarines as well as the Sirius Compact sensor. In our everyday life it's important to reflect on what modern conflict can look like and the importance of building resilience to protect our way of life. 29. Research collaboration for another decade
International partnerships are key to Saab’s innovation. Earlier this year we extended the research collaboration between Saab and Aalto University in Finland. The research collaboration has focused on the areas of antenna technology, micro-electronics, radar signal processing, artificial intelligence, and hydroacoustic sensing since 2017. 28. Space is more relevant than ever
Space is more relevant than ever. The podcast Have we gone to Mars yet has, in collaboration with Saab, published a book with insights from their interviews with astronauts, scientists, and engineers. 27. 9LV Combat system on Future Colombian Navy ship

26. Viggen a cultural icon
Earlier this year, Sweden's new "cultural canon" was presented, a collection of works and inventions that have shaped our national identity. Alongside the character of Pippi Longstocking and Hilma af Klint's paintings, the Saab 37 Viggen is also on the list. The aircraft was the backbone of the Swedish Air Force for three decades. It was the first aircraft outside the USA to be equipped with a computer and could also take off and land on short runways or motorways. For generations, we have developed technology with innovative power that creates security for people and societies, in the air, on land, and at sea. 25. 100 000 new shareholders

24. Saab selected for Poland’s new submarines
Earlier this year the Swedish government's offer of Saab’s A26 submarines to Poland was selected by the Polish government to replace the current Kilo-class submarines.

20. NATO exercise focusing on hybrid threats
Earlier this year Saab and Combitech took part in the NATO-led exercise Nordic Pine. 17. Growing interest in Saab

16. Test launch from CB90

Strengthening European defence, in June, Saab CEO Micael Johansson became the new President and Chairman of the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe Board(ASD). ASD is the leading voice for the European aerospace, security and defence industries and represents over 4,000 companies across 21 European countries. We've significantly reduced carbon emissions within our camouflage production in Gamleby, thanks to new biogas processes powering the factory. 6. Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Saab
Earlier this year, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Saab's site in Linköping together with the Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. 5. Strengthening Swedens resilience
Our subsidiary company Combitech’s Total Defence Report was released earlier this year. The report shows that 74 percent of decision-makers in the business sector want to learn more about total defence, yet only 11 percent have completed their preparedness planning. 2. HMS Halland back at sea
