Saab at Defense & Security Thailand 2025

Defense & Security Thailand is one of the most important industry events of its kind. As a long-term partner of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Saab will present this year its largest ever exhibit including, for the first time in Thailand, a full-scale Gripen E/F multi-role fighter.
Alongside Gripen, Saab will show its world-leading products and capabilities including Airborne Early Warning, Naval Combat Systems, Surface Sensors, Missile Systems, Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS), Ground Combat Systems and Training & Simulation solutions.
“Defense & Security is ASEAN’s leading air, sea, and land defense exhibition. The fact that it’s a tri-service event is very important. This allows Saab to showcase our broad defense portfolio and demonstrate how we integrate systems across all domains,” says Fredrik Lindblom, Head of Saab Thailand.
“I’m especially pleased to bring the full-scale Gripen E fighter to Thailand for the first time, following the Royal Thai Air Force contract in August,” Fredrik adds. “Gripen E/F will be a driver for new technology and capabilities across the whole Royal Thai Armed Forces. We will also present new solutions for Counter-UAS and demonstrate how our unique tactical datalinks enable joint command-and- control for full-scale network centric warfare throughout the armed forces.”
Thailand is one of Saab’s most important customers, with Saab systems such as Gripen C/D, Erieye AEW, and Naval Combat Management Systems in service across the Royal Thai Armed Forces. Together, these platforms form one of the few fully operational network centric warfare capabilities in the world.
