Innovation is the power to change the world. Saab at Techa Arena 2026
As a leader in defence and security innovation, Saab will debut as a key partner at Techarena 2026, showcasing how advanced technologies can build a safer, more sustainable society. The event, held on 11–12 February at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm, will feature Saab's commitment to innovation.
For Saab, innovation is closely linked to responsibility and long-term societal value. Since its foundation in the late 1930s, the company has developed advanced defence and security solutions driven by Sweden’s need to strengthen national capability during a period of limited access to foreign technology. This heritage continues to influence Saab’s approach to innovation today. Where some innovate to disrupt the world. We innovate to keep it safe.

A structured approach to innovation
Saab’s innovation framework is based on four key principles designed to ensure that new technologies deliver operational value and long-term sustainability.
The company prioritises understanding customer requirements and operational needs to ensure that solutions address real-world challenges. Saab then evaluates technical feasibility through advanced research and engineering expertise, while also assessing economic viability to ensure responsible investment and lifecycle performance. Finally, adaptability is considered to ensure that solutions remain effective as technologies, market conditions and security environments evolve.
