We are looking for a driven M&A Manager to join our Group M&A function. This is a key position where you will work with our M&A strategy and ensuring we always have interesting acquisition candidates to pursue. This is your chance to combine strategic thinking with business acumen and play a vital role in our growth journey.
Your role
In this role, you will be actively involved in deal sourcing and screening by collaborating with our Business Areas and local country units to define strategic M&A themes. You will proactively identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and enable fast and well informed pursue/don’t pursue decisions.
You will also take ownership of pipeline management, this includes ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads and overseeing the structured progression of opportunities. Your work will help guide smart decision-making and keep the focus on the opportunities with the greatest potential.
In addition, you will lead regular engagement with Business Areas and country units in order to drive or coordinate the commercial due diligence process on selected targets, assessing market position, growth potential, competitive landscape, and strategic fit.
Besides this you will:
- Support the Head of M&A in preparing regular reporting materials and updates on the Group’s M&A and investment pipeline for Group Management and the Board, providing transparency and visibility into strategic opportunities and progress.
- Support the Head of M&A in reviewing and strengthening investment memos, presentation decks, and other decision support material ahead of key governance meetings.
- You will work closely with your colleagues in the M&A team and Business Areas, to ensure that each step of the process runs smoothly, with a focus on service and quality.
You will report directly to Head of M&A
Your profile
- Around 5 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, equity research or strategy consulting.
- Proven experience in deal sourcing or target screening, ideally within a decentralized and international organization.
- Strong analytical, organizational, presentation and communication skills.
- Skills in financial analysis and company valuation is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex decision-making environments.
- Strong business acumen and ability to turn strategic objectives into actionable M&A themes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field (MBA is a plus).
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
