Your role

As Manager of Service Management, you will lead and build a growing services business and organization. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we work with services delivery, customer support, aftermarket services and follow-up of service commitments – from strategy to execution.

You will play a key role in defining and developing our future services capability. This means not only ensuring that we meet current customer commitments, but also building a structured, scalable and competitive services offering over time.

The role combines strategic leadership with a strong hands-on approach. You will actively contribute to setting direction and priorities, while also driving implementation and ensuring that strategies are translated into results in day-to-day operations.

The work is dynamic and often event-driven, requiring sound judgement, prioritisation and the ability to act in time-critical situations. You will work closely with customers, Account Managers/Regional Programme Managers, Project Managers and internal stakeholders across Saab.

Main responsibilities:

Leadership & capability building

  • Build, lead and develop the Service Management team

  • Establish effective ways of working, processes and governance

Strategy & business development

  • Define and drive the services strategy across delivery, support and aftermarket

  • Drive services business growth through sales initiatives and development of the aftermarket offering

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships

Delivery & performance

  • Ensure that agreed service levels and customer commitments are met and continuously improved

  • Translate strategy into execution and secure delivery across regions and customers

  • Ensure alignment between customers and internal stakeholders

  • Drive continuous improvement based on performance and customer feedback

Within Surface Sensor Solutions, the Service Management function works closely with Project Management, Marketing & Sales, Engineering, and Production. Together, we both win new business and ensure successful delivery, contributing to long-term customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.

Your profile

You are a confident and inspiring leader with a strong business mindset and a passion for building both teams and customer value. You enjoy working in an environment where you can combine strategic thinking with operational execution.

You have experience from services business, project management or a similar area, and a good understanding of commercial aspects such as contracts, profitability and long-term customer value.

You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments and enjoy working in an international context.

  • Have experience from services delivery, aftermarket and project-based operations

  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both Swedish and English

  • International travel is a natural part of the role

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on current regulations regarding security protection. For roles requiring security clearance, additional requirements regarding citizenship may apply.
