Job Description:

Saab, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Teamcenter Administrator within our Engineering Systems team. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering disciplines across Saab’s US businesses to manage, support, and enhance our Teamcenter PLM platform, ensuring its optimal performance and alignment with business needs. In addition to Teamcenter administration, you will support other critical engineering applications, contributing to continuous improvement efforts through automation, standardization, and workflow development initiatives.

You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Teamcenter environment to ensure it supports the engineering teams efficiently and securely. When not engaged in Teamcenter-specific tasks, you will also support a suite of other applications, such as the Atlassian and Ansys toolsets, Altium, Codebeamer, CST, DOORS, and more. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Teamcenter, complemented by a broad knowledge of engineering systems and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Serve as the lead administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for the Teamcenter environment.

  • Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and system maintenance for Teamcenter and associated integrations.

  • Monitor Teamcenter performance, troubleshoot system issues, and implement improvements.

  • Manage user accounts, roles, access permissions, and security settings within Teamcenter.

  • Ensure data integrity, system backups, and disaster recovery planning for Teamcenter.

  • Partner with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Teamcenter with other engineering applications and enterprise systems.

  • Stay current with Teamcenter updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.

  • Maintain and support other engineering tools as needed, including Atlassian Suite, Altium, Ansys tools, codebeamer, CST, DOORS, and others.

  • Manage software licensing, compliance, and renewals for engineering applications.

  • Ensure system security, compliance, and documentation in alignment with NIST 800-171, DoD program requirements, and maintain practices consistent with our CMMC certification.

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $112,500

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience administrating Teamcenter in a professional environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, and integrations.

  • Experience supporting a range of engineering tools or equivalents.

  • Experience operating in an environment compliant with NIST 800-171 standards.

  • Familiarity with achieving Authorization to Operate (ATO) for development and operational systems.

  • Experience supporting large DoD programs and multiple stakeholder environments.

  • Proficiency in system administration and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, both independently and as part of a team.

  • Certifications related to PLM systems, Teamcenter, or IT administration (preferred).

Citizenship Requirements:
