At Saab Surveillance, we are expanding our engineering organization and are looking for a System Software Engineer to join our growing team.

Your role

As part of our Sensor Core Applications team, you will develop and maintain core software applications that power both our current radar sensor systems and future generations of radar technology.

You will be involved throughout the product lifecycle, from early concepts and design to development, testing, and delivery. Working closely with colleagues from different disciplines, you will play an important role in shaping solutions that are robust, scalable, and built for the future.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of experience in professional software development.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ or a similar language.
  • Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
  • Understanding of agile software development methods.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
