Saab launches Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2025-2027

2 min read

Saab is proud to announce the launch of our second Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), building on the foundations of our reconciliation journey and strengthening our commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The Innovate RAP provides a framework to deepen relationships, show respect and create meaningful opportunities, both within our organization and in the community. This RAP reflects what we have learned so far and outlines new initiatives that will help us embed reconciliation more firmly into the way we work.

“Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, not a destination,” said Saab Australia Chief People Officer, Christelle Simpson. “Our second Innovate RAP is an important step in ensuring that reconciliation is not only acknowledged, but actively practiced through our culture, policies and partnerships.”

We acknowledge and thank all those who contributed to the development of this RAP. In particular, we acknowledge the valuable guidance of our RAP Working Group and the First Nations representation provided by Marius Liddle from MTL Consulting, whose insight and perspectives have been integral in ensuring the plan is meaningful and respectful.

We are committed to continuing this journey of reconciliation and working together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to help build a more inclusive, respectful and equitable future for all.
