Saab Eligible for Next Phase of Future Fighter

Today, it was announced that Saab is eligible for selection in the next phase of the Future Fighter Capability Project process. The Government of Canada has informed Saab that we have passed all aspects of the evaluation including capability, security and interoperability requirements. We look forward to continued collaboration with the Government of Canada on this matter. Saab is offering 88 state of the art Gripen E aircraft – a “Made in Canada” solution for the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Saab receives order for RBS 70 NG from Canada

Saab has received an order from the Government of Canada for the short-range air defence system RBS 70 NG. The order value is approximately CAD 227 million (SEK 1.8 billion) with deliveries starting during 2024.

Saab Receives Order for Sea Giraffe AMB from Royal Canadian Navy

Saab has signed a contract for multi-role Sea Giraffe AMB naval radars antenna kits, for the upgrade of the Royal Canadian Navy’s Halifax Class frigates. The contract also includes associated equipment and spare parts with an order value over SEK 300 million.
