New CEO for Saab Danmark A/S
Daniel Plath has been appointed as the new CEO of Saab Danmark A/S, effective 1 March 2026. Daniel Plath joins from Danfoss, where he served as Senior Director, Head of M&A Integration.
“I´m very pleased to welcome Daniel. As CEO Saab Danmark he will also act as Head of Product Unit Communication Solutions within business unit Naval Combat Systems, Saab AB. Daniel has a strong track record of driving execution and operational excellence as well as within leadership both within manufacturing and from the financial industry. I´m looking very much forward to having him onboard to lead our operations in Denmark”, says Jonas Ottosson, Head of business unit Naval Combat Systems.
Daniel has many years of experience in senior roles at Danfoss, where he led global factory performance and M&A integration initiatives, combined with eight years of leadership experience in the Danish financial services sector at Sydbank and Nykredit. His most recent role at Danfoss was Senior Director and Head of M&A Integration. Daniel has a proven ability to drive execution and operational excellence while establishing appropriate governance, standardisation, and performance frameworks to enable sustainable growth in complex, global organisations. Daniel resides in Sønderborg with his family.
