Saab delivers the second GlobalEye Swing Role Surveillance System to the United Arab Emirates on 30 September 2020.
Saab has signed a support agreement with the United Arab Emirates regarding the advanced airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) solution GlobalEye. The agreement is valid between 2020 and 2022, with an order value of 144.9 MUSD.
Saab delivered the first GlobalEye Swing Role Surveillance System aircraft to the United Arab Emirates on 29 April 2020.

The United Arab Emirates announced today, at the Dubai Airshow, that they intend to conclude a contract amendment for the purchase of two additional GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning & Control aircraft from Saab.
Saab has flown a GlobalEye airborne early warning and control aircraft to the Dubai Airshow where it is on static display, marking the first time GlobalEye has been at an exhibition.

Saab has been awarded a contract to implement a Vessel Traffic Management Information System (VTMIS) for the Port of Fujairah, along with a 5-year maintenance agreement. The VTMIS allows the Port Control Centre to actively monitor and organise the vessel traffic in the port and make ship movements safe and more efficient.
Saab has been awarded a contract to manage and safeguard all traffic to, from and within the new Dubai Harbour - the first yachting community hub in the Middle East. The contract was awarded by the owner and developer of the project, Meraas, a diversified Dubai-based holding company.
