Safer winter roads

Safer winter roads The Swedish National Road Administration has signed a contract worth approximately SEK 8M with AerotechTelub. The contract concerns the system integration and supply of a new generation of approximately 200 weather stations to be supplied during 2001 and 2002. The National Road Administration's road weather information system (VViS) comprises approximately 700 weather stations that provide weather information for winter road maintenance and information to road-users about weather situations and road conditions. The system has been successively built up from the start in the 1980's and AerotechTelub has had extensive assignments within VViS during the years.
