Saab concentrates its efforts in Stockholm Saab's command and control systems, electronic warfare and avionics expertise are being gathered in a single company. The MD of this new company, the headquarters of which is to be based in Järfälla, will be Björn Erman. The company, which has some 1900 employees, is being created by merging Saab Tech Systems, Saab Avionics and Saab Facilities in Stockholm. "This merger is being implemented to bring about a more flexible and profitable business. The companies' products and services are key areas for the defence market, both now and in the future," says Göran Sjöblom, Deputy MD of Saab AB.
