Colgan Air Expands Fleet with Two More Saab 340Bs Colgan Air Inc. of Manassas, Virginia, today announced a firm order for two Saab 340Bs bringing its fleet of the 34-seaters to nine aircraft. Both aircraft will be delivered in October and will fly in USAirways Express livery. "The build up of our Saab 340 fleet started during the first quarter of 2000 and has been an integral part of the company strategy for long-term growth and expansion under the US Airways code," said Colgan President Mike Colgan. Based outside of Washington, DC, in Manassas, Virginia, Colgan Air provides air service to 33 city pairs in the northeastern United States as US Airways Express, feeding connecting passengers to US Airways hubs and focus cities of New York (LaGuardia), Boston, and Pittsburgh.
