Saab and Embraer sign Component Maintenance Agreement worth MSEK 100
Saab Aviocomp AB has signed an agreement with Embraer Aviation International under which it will support Embraer with rotable component maintenance for a designated component package that is included in Embraer’s Pool Program. The agreement is on a long-term basis and value could be up to MSEK 100 considering the market potential.

This agreement builds on our position as a leading component repair facility for ERJ aircraft in Europe.” says Jan-Ingvar Johansson, President of Saab Aviocomp AB. Saab Aviocomp is already an authorized Service Center for Embraer and this new agreement is a development of the good cooperation between the companies.At present there are more than 150 aircraft of the ERJ135/145 model delivered in Europe by Embraer. “This new agreement strengthens our position to provide continued support to our customers,” says Mauricio Aveiro, Embraer’s Director of Customer Services, Europe, Africa and Middle East markets. “We truly value and recognise the efficiency and professionalism of Saab Aviocomp.” Saab Aviocomp AB is active in the maintenance and repair of components for regional aircraft. Customers consist of a large number of airline companies around the world.
