Saab Systems has received an MSEK 98 order for continued development of StriC, the Swedish Air Defence System, and Strics, a customized air simulator system for StriC. StriC has been used by the Swedish Air Force since 1998 in control of the JAS 39 Gripen fighter.

“This is a very important order for the Swedish Armed Forces and Saab, as it contributes to the continued development of Saab Systems’ world-leading expertise in command and control systems for air defence and future system solutions,” says Dan-Åke Enstedt, President at Saab Systems. The order includes NATO adaptations, integration of ground radar and the introduction of IP telephony. The order also includes an option for further NATO adaptations.
