Saab Barracuda in Gamleby gives notice to 10 employees

Saab Barracuda in Gamleby, Sweden, is giving notice to 10 employees due to a fall in demand. The move relates to white-collar co-workers in Gamleby.

“Demand for camouflage products has fallen and we have to adapt our operation to this lower level,” says Mats Warstedt, President of Saab Barracuda AB. “It is very sad to have to take this action, but we will be doing our best to support the personnel involved.” Notice of the workforce reductions has been submitted to the County Employment Board in Kalmar. Talks with the local union branches have been completed, and the personnel affected by the move have been informed. Saab Barracuda AB is located in Gamleby, Sweden, and develops, manufactures and markets products for multi-spectral protection against detection and identification through signature management.
